steroids and baseball

To start i do not condone the use of steroids, but lets get this straight, people want these players to play 162 games a year, want them performing at there best , we get upset when a player spends to much time on the disable list, but yet a supplement that helps u take care of all the things that  we complain about we redicule them for using it.  The only problem i have with players using the steroids is it  taints the numbers they put up, as the players before them didnt have access to these drugs so they were not able to play as long or as hard or they might have better numbers then we see today. Hank arron might have played a couple of more years and still have the homerun title.  The use of steroids can hurt ur body in the long run, that is the players choice, but how can u say a person is bad or redicule them for making millions and wanting to use something to help them play longer, i would say at least 80% of the people out there would have used these drugs if put in the same situation. I do not know how we can fix this, how we can change the records of this era, as not all players during this era used them, but if you are found that you have used them your records should be deleted like other atletes have had done to them in other sports, but i say lets not redicule these players for trying to play longer harder and faster as anyone of us would have done the same thing. the thing about baseball is, steroids dont help u throw farther, they dont help you hit the ball no drug in the world can help you do that, all it does is help you stay strong and bounce back quicker, which the older players didnt have the oppertunity.
